Derick Rainey
VP North American Sales
Derick Rainey has deep roots in the tilt-up industry. He grew up around concrete, working alongside his father. Whether sweeping the warehouse or cleaning forms, his upbringing laid the foundation for a career in concrete. After starting out as a delivery driver and warehouse worker for a Kentucky-based concrete supply distributor, he became fascinated with tilt-up concrete, which shaped his professional path.
In 2003, Derick transitioned into outside sales, focusing on serving tilt-up contractors. Derick started at Nox-Crete in 2014 as the Southeast Regional Manager, becoming the Tilt-Up Division Manager in 2019. He was promoted to VP North American Sales in 2022. Derick is a member of the TILT Mentorship Program and serves on the TCA’s education committee. He has presented multiple sessions at the TCA Convention, and his technical bulletins, “Reactive Bondbreakers Use Chemistry to Extend Lifting Timelines” (2020) and “Bondbreakers and Densifiers” (2022), were published by the TCA.
