Concepts Direct
The original design for the new Concepts Direct, a custom mail order retailer, multi-use building called for the main entry and lobby walls to be clad with local cleft-faced sandstone.
Saunders Construction worked with Intergroup Architects to reduce the cost of the project.
The solution was Tilt-Up with the unusual method of casting the panels face-up. The contractor then calling on Colorado Hardscapes, Denver, a Bowmanite® installer, to apply the sandstone finish.
The result is a striking building with a finish that is difficult to distinguish from the native sandstone that was originally specified.
