Summarize the project's program, features and achievements?
45 Logistics South consists of two tiltwall warehouse buildings totaling 389,264 s.f., 32’ clear height, 3,700 SF spec offices in each building, ESFR sprinkler system plus related site improvements. This project includes wood formliner accents at the entries and screen walls and over 4,200 LF of retaining wall reaching heights of over 15' tall. Also, a concrete tilt wall pump house supplies water to each building's fire sprinkler system from a 135,000-gallon water storage tank.
What obstacles were overcome related to the schedule, budget, program, specification, site, etc. on this project?
The existing site featured significant grade changes, including an elevation difference of over 30 feet from one side to the other. This required several thousand feet of retaining wall and extensive mass grading to mitigate the elevation changes.
Please communicate any engineering complexities or unique features of the panel design for this project?
The complexity and orientation of the large panels at the corner entries required detailed coordination during panel erection.
