East Belt Logistics Park

Summarize the project's program, features and achievements?

East Belt Logistics Park consists of two tilt-wall, cross-dock warehouse buildings totaling 858,600 s.f., Building 1 totals 591,560 s.f., 40’ clear height and ESFR sprinkler system; Building 2 totals 267,040 s.f., 36’ clear height and ESFR sprinkler system plus related public and private site improvements. This project also received one GREEN GLOBE for utilizing sustainable materials and best building practices.

What obstacles were overcome related to the schedule, budget, program, specification, site, etc. on this project?

Our project had a 50’ Pipeline easement and required us to coordinate with CPE and redesign the route to provide power to the project.

Please communicate any engineering complexities or unique features of the panel design for this project?

The entry panels consisted of a large spandrel panel which is supported with 5’ wide and 12” thick leg panels.
