E-Commerce Center of Hampton

Project summary provided by submitting company.

The E-Commerce project offered many challenges, 2" - 4" recess in an insulated 3-story Tilt-Up project with high traffic lanes on two sides. Working with the Developer and Designers, W.M. Jordan and PMA Architecture, our Design Build Tilt-Up team was successful in creating the desired image. This successful project required immense planning and coordination of the panel details. Our goal to limit the amount of form joints and the recesses helped meet the flat paint requirements. Transition details between the recesses were coordinated to match reveals on the rest of the building. Recessed thin brick and the bolted on concrete band provided the depth of and featured look envisioned by the Architect to produce an architectural attractive building. Coordination allowed for Citadel to overcome the site logistic challenges and turn the building over to the General Contractor ahead of schedule. This project was a huge success for W.M. Jordan and Citadel Contractors.
