The Karbach Packaging Hall is a part of Karbach Brewing Company's growing brewery complex in Houston, Texas. Located just outside Houston's inner loop, the 50,351 square-foot, two-story facility serves as the canning, packaging and storage warehouse as well as corporate offices for the brewery.
One of the focuses for this project was to create a uniform aesthetic for the complex and to blend in the new construction with the existing brewery, taproom and restaurant. This was achieved by utilizing form liner and tilt-wall panel construction to simulate metal panel which was used in the Karbach brewery and restaurant project completed in 2015.
In 2016, Karbach Brewing Co. was acquired by Anheuser-Busch, leading to additional growth and the need for ramped up production volumes. This new facility will allow for the brewery to increase local production and distribution across Texas and expand into neighboring states. Karbach plans to produce 150,000 barrels in 2019 with this new facility.
