Events > NACA - Pressing Government on Issues to Benefit You

The North American Concrete Alliance (NACA) is a coalition of twelve concrete-related associations formed in 2004 for the purpose of addressing industry-wide concerns & initiatives in the areas of research, safety, education, and government affairs. Together, NACA represents 600,000 employees and contributes $100 billion annually to the U.S. economy. This week, Rachel Derby, Vice President of Government Affairs for the Portland Cement Association and lead organizer for NACA joins us to present a message on this coalition, the work accomplished annually and the goals set for the coming months. Her message will aim at answering important questions for companies involved in the concrete industry such as: What are the government affairs opportunities and challenges for the industry? How does NACA influence the TCA? How does NACA work with and for the TCA? What are NACA’s core strengths/competencies? How can my company get involved to help NACA?
