METROBRICK Architectural Thin Brick is kiln fired ceramic thin brick designed to meet both TBX and ASTM requirements for architectural thin brick. METROBRICK is the right choice when a masonry appearance to a tilt up project is required.

METROBRICK is available with a smooth finish and two textures. Both a traditional and velour look are available. Ironspot may also be added to any finish for even more design options.

METROBRICK is designed and manufactured to be less than 3% absorption for superior performance in all climates. Because of the low absorption rate the specifier will never have to worry about problems with efflorescence, spalling or other freeze/thaw issues.

The strict size tolerance (+0, –1/16”) makes METROBRICK the right choice for all popular liner systems. With METROBRICK there is no need to grind the edges or sort cartons to make bricks fit the liner. Less labor, less waste, and a better quality installation are the end results.

METROBRICK is manufactured with a reverse dovetail back to ensure a tight bond with the concrete bed. METROBRICK bricks lock into the concrete.

Strict design tolerance is also the standard with METROBRICK corners and edge cap pieces. Through extensive research and product development, METROBRICK is able to manufacture corners with unmatched precision without having to “fatten” the pieces. METROBRICK corners are designed to be true 90˚ corners.

METROBRICK is currently available in ten single tone colors and seven kiln fired range colors. The range colors show a natural shade variation produced in the kiln, so color wearing or changing is not an issue. At plant blending of colors is also available. Current sizes available are Modular, Closure, Norman, and Utility. All sizes meet the same strict standards mentioned. All METROBRICK is 5/8” thick for sure bond.
