The project listings below are continually updated to showcase the extents to which Tilt-Up construction has been successfully used. The organizations listed under each of the highlighted projects are current TCA Members and would be happy to assist you on your next Tilt-Up project.

The Top Ten of Tilt-Up

If you have a project, or are part of an organization that you feel should be included, send your documentation to Jim Baty, Technical Director for the TCA. The information to include in your submittal is as follows:

  • Name of Project
  • Project Location
  • Name and Role of Participating Companies
  • Primary Contact for the Information

Panel Information (all that apply):

  • Include panel shop drawing from panel booklet
  • Height of panel(s)
  • Width of panel(s)
  • Weight of panel(s)
  • Gross Area of panel(s)
  • Free-standing cantilever height
  • Spandrel width(s)

Building Information (all that apply):

  • Include floor plan and/or building elevations if possible.
  • Building Area (footprint)
  • Floor Area (all levels)
  • Wall Area (gross)

About the TCA

Founded in 1986, the Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) strives to improve the quality and acceptance of site-cast Tilt-Up construction, a method in which concrete wall panels are cast on-site and tilted into place. Tilt-Up construction is one of the fastest growing industries in the United States, combining the advantages of reasonable cost with low maintenance, durability, speed of construction and minimal capital investment. At least 10,000 buildings, enclosing more than 650 million square feet, are constructed each year using this construction method.
