Although award-winning Citadel Contractors Inc. of Apex, North Carolina offers a wide range of construction services, the firm has a proven specialty in creatively using Tilt-Up concrete as the exterior wall system. A member of the Stevens Group of Companies (Nova Scotia, Canada), Citadel Contractors incorporated in the U.S. in 1997, successfully applying a long-track record of Tilt-Up construction expertise in Canada to the Southeastern region of the United States.
Citadel Contractions couples the effective Tilt-Up system with a professional Design-Build team approach. The result is cost-effective delivery of structures that offer owners immense design freedom -- from building shape and size to artistic enhancements. Every building is designed with the owner in mind to meet individual requirements and style. A unified team of architects, engineers and contractors work closely with the owner on every project to ensure the design is efficient and both budget and building requirements are satisfied.
With successful projects totaling millions of square feet, Citadel Contractors serves the Southeast with offices in Apex (a suburb of Raleigh, N.C.) and Charleston. S.C. Many of these projects are recipients of Tilt-Up Achievement Awards and are featured in industry marketing materials as unique and state-of-the-art examples of the possibilities afforded with today’s Tilt-Up construction. In addition to award-winning Tilt-Up structures, Citadel Contractors supports the Tilt-Up industry as a sustaining member of the TCA. Further, Glenn Doncaster, President of Citadel Contractors, serves on the Association Board of Directors.
