Shawn Hickey is the Vice President for SiteCast Construction. Located in Ottawa, Canada’s National Capital, he is responsible for training field personnel in tilt-up procedures, and the day-to-day operations of this company.

SiteCast Construction has specialized in insulated exposed aggregate tilt-up. They are the first firm to incorporate Tilt-Up in multi-story cast in place concrete structures, in which they have taken this technique to construct several office buildings, five floors tall.

With a diploma in Architecture, Shawn was certified by the Canadian and Provincial Construction Associations as a Construction Superintendent. He has presented tilt-up construction to several groups and associations throughout Canada and the United States, including the World of Concrete.

He is the Past-President for the Tilt-up Concrete Association and an active member of ACI committee’s 650 and 551.
