Jim MacKinnon, a member of the construction industry since 1991, has worked for Saunders Construction, Inc – one of the largest general contractors in the Rocky Mountains -- since 1996. His project experience includes many award-winning structures such as Security Central and Excel Academy.

Further, he has worked with such clients as Coors, General Motors, Comcast and ProLogis. MacKinnon has spent much effort in encouraging the use of Tilt-Up in expanding market areas such as education, medical, retail and office development. And, after focusing many years on developing Tilt-Up construction methods for Saunders Construction, he helped assemble a dedicated group within the company that focuses specifically on Tilt-Up projects.

A graduate of Colorado State University, MacKinnon currently holds a position on the Board of Directors for the Associated General Contractors ofColorado. Originally fromBoston, home of the World Champion Boston Red Sox, MacKinnon and his wife Kathleen have two children and live outside of Denver.
