As a structural engineer for CON/STEEL, Tomasula is responsible for project management duties as they relate to structural design. Specific responsibilities include preliminary and final structural design, estimating support, coordination of CAD staff, review of construction drawings and field inspections.

Tomasula is a charter member of the International Association on Structural Control and has been published in both the ASCE Journal of Structural Engineering and the ASCE Journal of Engineering Mechanics. He is an active member on the Structural Committee of the Concrete Council of St. Louis.
