Summarize the project's program, features, and achievements: This project is essentially an embodiment of efficiency at multiple levels and speed; design and construction process are conditioned completely by these determinants. Among methods of building, only tilt-up construction has this kind of capacity and that was the reason of preference. Efficiency ultimately supports speed but also indicates the condition of satisfying many requirements simultaneously: Quality, durability, flexibility, compatibility, cost-effectiveness, ease of implementation / phasing and coordination with other disciplines. As the time frame was restricted, we explored tilt-up potential not only as a construction technique but also as a construction process: 1- All buildings within campus are constructed of tilt-up system including guardhouse. 2- Exterior walls constructed of insulated tilt-up. 3- Interior walls constructed of single wythe tilt-up. 3- We were able to manage construction process through having full control over phasing and coordination; we were able to modify design as late as during erection of the panels, as the Process Line design was still being developed and modified at that time. 4- Consequently as design team, we developed a Hold / Go method to communicate everyday design updates to the field team to ensure an effective construction process without interruptions. 5- Structural design / construction was ahead of piping and mechanical design, so we created knock out panels with identifiable areas for pipe penetration.

What obstacles were overcome related to the schedule, budget, program, specification, site, etc. on this project? Aggressive Project Timeline: Award and kickoff meeting first week in November 2020. First week of December 2020 site clearing is complete. Second week of December 2020 first casting slab poured; grade substantially complete. Third week of December 2020 first foundations poured. Second week of January 2021 first tilt panels erected. Fourth week of January 2021 steel erection begins. Third week of February 2021 roofing begins. Fourth week of April 2021 Early Turnover in Brewery to Equipment suppliers.

Please communicate any engineering complexities or unique features of the panel design for this project. ? Structural design / construction was ahead of piping and mechanical design, so we created knock out panels with identifiable areas for pipe penetration.

What is the potential for this project's impact on the community and/or environment? The project was built during pandemic, it created job opportunity during the stand still. The community became a partner in meeting MAB's aggressive project schedule to ensure high paying quality jobs for one of the world's leading beverage producers. It sparked development within town with quantity of jobs and better paying jobs. It puts Columbia on the map for the food and beverage industry.
