The Keiser University buildings feature an abundance of reveal work highlighted with the contrasting colors of grays, tans and whites. The window punched openings are highlighted by the white color for the elevated floors and a gray panel for the ground floor. The garage panels have a similar architectural feel with the reveal work and contrasting colors. The main building has two feature entrances.

At the garage side, the entrance uses five cast-in-place columns that support a large Tilt-Up canopy that covers the entrance. The ground floor entrance is all glass. This was created using a two-story, 15-foot wide load bearing spandrel panel supported by the adjacent entrance panels.

The main frontage entrance features three layers of panels that create the articulated entrance. The main building panel has the windows and doors while the applied panel on the front creates the depth and has the reveal work. The panels have lower feature panels that create the "box-outs" on either side of the entrance doors. The entrance is protected with a 9-foot cantilever Tilt-Up panel canopy that is attached to the box-outs and to the main building panels.

The building panels also work for the lateral force resistance to hurricane force winds.

About the TCA

Founded in 1986, the Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) strives to improve the quality and acceptance of site-cast Tilt-Up construction, a method in which concrete wall panels are cast on-site and tilted into place. Tilt-Up construction is one of the fastest growing industries in the United States, combining the advantages of reasonable cost with low maintenance, durability, speed of construction and minimal capital investment. At least 10,000 buildings, enclosing more than 650 million square feet, are constructed each year using this construction method.
