A Gift For Teaching is an Orlando-based nonprofit organization that collects and distributes free school supplies and incentives to Orange, Osceola and Seminole County Public Schools

Orlando, Florida (August 13, 2008) -- Orlando-based Tilt-Con Corporation was one of the main sponsors of the 10th Year Celebration of “A Gift For Teaching” program benefiting Orange, Osceola and Seminole County teachers held at Amway Arena in Orlando on August 7. Tilt-Con was also instrumental in securing celebrated guest speaker and author Ron Clark who drew nearly 1,000 educators to the event. Featured on Oprah, The Today Show and CNN, Clark is one of America’s favorite teachers and author of the bestselling book, “The Essential 55.” A Gift For Teaching is an Orlando-based nonprofit organization that collects and distributes free school supplies and incentives to Orange, Osceola and Seminole County Public Schools through a free store for teachers.

With humorous and heart-warming stories, Ron Clark delivered a message of hope, dedication and the persistence necessary to reach goals and dreams. Jane Thompson, President, A Gift For Teaching, said, “We wanted to celebrate our 10th birthday by celebrating the teachers who work so hard to make a difference in their students’ lives. Ron Clark’s message gave inspiration and hope to teachers when they face increasing difficulties in their classrooms.
