Construction Underway for Architects | Delawie Wilkes-Designed Tenant Improvements of Peregrine Semiconductor Headquarters
The two-story, concrete tilt-up shell building will encompass research and development labs, a Class 10,000 clean room, and new office space.
San Diego, California (November 6, 2007) -- Construction is underway for approximately 48,000 square feet of tenant improvements for the corporate headquarters of Peregrine Semiconductor, located at 9380 Carroll Park Drive in San Diego, Calif.
In addition to providing the design and construction documents, San Diego-based Architects | Delawie Wilkes Rodrigues Barker is providing the construction administration for the $1.5 million project.
A challenge of the fast-track project was coordinating the construction timeline with Peregrine’s schedule for occupancy. Construction was phased to accommodate an existing tenant that was swapping facilities with Peregrine.
When the tenant improvements are completed in November 2007, the two-story, concrete tilt-up shell building will encompass research and development labs, a Class 10,000 clean room, and new office space.
Michael Asaro AIA is serving as principal-in-charge for Architects | Delawie Wilkes Rodrigues Barker. Also part of the Architects | Delawie Wilkes Rodrigues Barker design team are Adel Smith-Chapman, lead interior designer; and Nathan Vandermeulen, Associate AIA, project manager.
Directing the project for Peregrine Semiconductor is Mike Cain, serving as facility manager, and Phil Chapman, CFO. Burger Construction is the general contractor, with Herb Krul as the project executive and Tim Lockridge as the project manager. Overseeing the electrical design-build services of Berg Electric is Tony Parra, while Robin Sites is overseeing the mechanical design-build services of ICS.
