Certification Seminar
A great introduction and refresher course to many Tilt-Up construction concepts. It is not a required component to sit for the exam and alone this seminar will not present enough information to completely pass the exam. It is, however, designed as a final preparation tool for those seeking Tilt-Up certification.
Topics include safety, plan reading, scheduling and site preparation as well as foundations, layout, slabs, forming, concrete placement, panel erection and bracing. With a well-rounded content of this magnitude, it is also a viable seminar for anyone involved in the industry.
Certification Exam
Passage of the certification exam with a 70% or higher score is required to receive certification as a Tilt-Up Technician. To receive certification as a Tilt-Up Supervisor, passage of this exam required, along with 5 years verified work experience. Individuals qualifying through the exam will receive a certificate, a wallet card and a hard hat decal.
Certification Manual
It is recommended that the certification study manual be purchased to assist in preparing for the exam. Manuals can be ordered for $80 each plus $9 for shipping and handling.
How should you prepare?
- Pre-register for the event using the reverse side of this form
- Order the certification manual
- If necessary, review the Tilt-Up Construction & Engineering Manual, 6th Edition.
- Arrive at the test site on-time and ready to go.
