Annual attractions

The TCA Annual Convention is the premier gathering of the Tilt-Up industry each year with a multi-discipline approach to education and networking. With the theme “Building for Disaster Protection,” this year’s Convention has something for everyone – whether you are new to Tilt-Up of have been completing Tilt-Up projects for decades. One of the highlights of the Convention is the industry trade show that provides you with time to speak with the many of the top suppliers and manufacturers in the industry worldwide. The Convention also serves as another venue for the Tilt-Up Supervisor’s Certification exam – a joint program of the TCA and the American Concrete Institute (ACI).

New in 2010!

An added feature to the Convention this year is the presentation of the annual Tilt-Up Achievement Awards. Previously presented during the Annual Meeting at World of Concrete, the Awards presentation will be held during a special luncheon at the Convention. A favorite by many in the industry, be sure not to miss this presentation!

About the TCA

Founded in 1986, the Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) strives to improve the quality and acceptance of site-cast Tilt-Up construction, a method in which concrete wall panels are cast on-site and tilted into place. Tilt-Up construction is one of the fastest growing industries in the United States, combining the advantages of reasonable cost with low maintenance, durability, speed of construction and minimal capital investment. At least 10,000 buildings, enclosing more than 650 million square feet, are constructed each year using this construction method.
