Each of the TCA’s member committees is charged with developing and overseeing projects and initiatives that expand and improve the use of Tilt-Up as the preferred construction method. These groups also make recommendations to the TCA board of directors, which, in turn, authorized annual projects and programs. In certain instances and with the authority of the board, TCA committees may also direct TCA staff members on specific items and projects between board members.
The following roster represents the TCA's current committee structure.
Executive
The Executive Committee handles a variety of management responsibilities for the Association.
Nominations
The Nominations Commitee reviews and nominates candidates for a number of TCA offices.
Membership
The mission of the TCA Membership Committee is to develop and implement programs to recruit and retain membership.
Promotions
The Promotions Committee works to increase the recognition of Tilt-Up construction’s growth and to further the recognition of the TCA as the international resource for this market.
Meetings & Education
Working to provide programs and venues that maximize learning and interaction at TCA events is the charge of the TCA Meetings and Education Committee.
Awards
The Awards Committee administers the TCA Annual National Awards program as both a member benefit and industry service.
Technical
The TCA Technical Committee strives to enhance the Tilt-Up Industry by reviewing, developing and distributing technical knowledge.
Safety
The Safety Committee monitors TCA materials for quality and appropriate safety content. It also administers the TCA Safety Awards Program.
Associates Council
The TCA Associates Council is a formal voting body comprised of one representative from each of the Global Supplier members, assembled to create direction and advised the TCA on ways to improve opportunities while benefitting the overall goals of the Association.
