TCA Committees: Associates Council

The Associates Council was formed to create direction and advise the Association on new opportunities and benefits for TCA members.

The Associates Council is a formal voting body comprised of one representative from each of the Global Supplier members, assembled to create direction and advised the TCA on ways to improve opportunities while benefitting the overall goals of the Association.

This Council is a representative body of the entire TCA Global Associate membership body. According to the by-laws now established, this Council is responsible for all related activities and directions pertaining to the interests of the supplier and manufacturer members of the Association. The goal of the Council is to help promote the interests and expertise of National Associate and Local Associate members of the TCA while benefitting the overall goals of the Association.

Representatives to the Associates' Council are designated by each Global Associate member, one per company, consisting of the single vote for that company an all action items. Meetings are open to any supplier member and these will occur each year during the TCA Annual Convention. Conference calls are held every other month on the third Wednesday of the month for discussion and updates on work priorities and goals. About the TCA

Founded in 1986, the Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) strives to improve the quality and acceptance of site-cast Tilt-Up construction, a method in which concrete wall panels are cast on-site and tilted into place. Tilt-Up construction is one of the fastest growing industries in the United States, combining the advantages of reasonable cost with low maintenance, durability, speed of construction and minimal capital investment. At least 10,000 buildings, enclosing more than 650 million square feet, are constructed each year using this construction method.
