General Superintendent

Seretta Construction is seeking a General Superintendent to be in charge of its Austin based commercial concrete operations. Responsibilities include direct supervision of all field superintendents and foreman, recruiting/terminating field personnel, schedule development in conjunction with the project manager, manpower allocation to all projects, quality control, attending jobsite meetings if directed by the PM & monitoring equipment use & maintenance. Candidate must be personable and be able to interact with clients, vendors & our office staff. Travel to jobsites is required (overnight/multiple night stays do occur).
Applicants must have at least 10 years hands on experience in commercial concrete construction and have been directly involved with foundations, large slab pours & tiltwall panels.

The ideal candidate must have a B.S in Civil Engineering or B.S. in Building Construction and a minimum 5 years experience in commercial concrete construction, tiltwall experience preferred. Ability to manage multiple projects, check shop drawings, perform material take-offs, maintain client relations and maintain quality control through project completion. Strong supervision, communication and organizational skills are essential, bilingual a plus. Must be willing to relocate to Austin.

Seretta Serves the commercial and industrial building community throughout the Mid-Atlantic, Southeastern and Southwestern United States with offices located in Orlando, FL; Charlotte, NC; and Austin, TX.
Seretta Construction’s Charlotte, NC office is in need of an experienced Estimator. This individual should have a minimum of five years of construction estimating experience which should include at least three years of concrete estimating experience. Tilt-wall estimating experience desired but not required.
