Photo of Tom SteckerThomas Stecker, President/CEO, has been with Composite Technologies Corporation (CTC) since February 1995. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa in 1989. Prior to joining CTC, he managed terminal and freight operations in the Midwest for two national LTL carriers. Tom joined CTC in the capacity of Transportation and Material Supply Manager. Shortly thereafter, he was promoted to Controller and then CFO of the corporation.

While CFO, he managed all financial activity, manufacturing and operations, human resources and CTC’s technical services department. In 2001, Tom was promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing for CTC. In that capacity, he directed all of CTC’s sales and marketing efforts.

In 2004, he was promoted to President and CEO of CTC. In his current capacity, Tom is responsible and manages all business activity for the corporation while reporting directly to the corporation’s Board of Directors.

Founded in 1986, the Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) strives to improve the quality and acceptance of site-cast Tilt-Up construction, a method in which concrete wall panels are cast on-site and tilted into place. Tilt-Up construction is one of the fastest growing industries in the United States, combining the advantages of reasonable cost with low maintenance, durability, speed of construction and minimal capital investment. At least 10,000 buildings, enclosing more than 650 million square feet, are constructed each year using this construction method.
