A native of Sugar Land, TX, Mark is poised as the next generation of leadership at E.E. Reed Construction. Mark began working at E.E. Reed during summers in high school at Strake Jesuit Preparatory School. He started first as a laborer, then moved to carpenter, and finally became a field engineer. His father wanted him to experience every level of the organization.
After graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in Construction Science in 1997, Mark joined Reed as an Assistant Project Manager. After years of learning the ropes, becoming a Project Manager, then Senior Project Manager, Mark was promoted to Vice President in 2004.
He currently serves as President of the organization, overseeing all types of construction projects. Mark came up through the ranks at E.E. Reed and enjoys working with his father on a day-to-day basis while the succession of leadership materializes.
Mark was instrumental to the success of the 2013 TCA Convention in Houston, Texas. Serving as the general contractor for the TCA Community Project and as a leader on the host committee, Mark contributed significant time and resources to ensure the event was successful.
