Myrtle Park architectural is reminiscent of the late 1700's and early 1800's architecture of Charleston, South Carolina. The rustic brick, quoin details, balcony design and window details all combine to create a rich full appearance.

Why Did the Owner Select Tilt-Up?
The Developer/Contractor have previous experience with Tilt-Up and enjoyed the schedule, cost, durability and architectural advantages associated with Tilt-Up. Tilt-Up also provided an efficient solution to the local and seismic conditions.

What was the Overall Complexity of the project?
Complexities include limited casting area, panels with little repetition, quoin design, curved balconies, dormers and inlaid brick. The result was 106 Tilt-Up and site cast pieces. The decks, moldings and columns were all cast on site and erected in the same fashion as the Tilt-Up panels resulting in a complete concrete façade.

What was the Project Mission?
Innovative and superior quality Design Build Services and Construction

What were the outstanding features?
The detail work in this project is what makes it successful. Combining the detailed reveal work with the 106 pieces required extensive planning and detailed execution.

What special materials were used?
Concrete...Some would say what is special about concrete? With the use of inlaid brick and extensive detailing this concrete façade is special.

What was the success of the project?
The entire project is speculative. Leasing is underway with high levels of interest throughout the community. The building office complex is destined to be a landmark for the community.

What additional features or comments should be made?
This project provided Tilt-Up construction with the opportunity to combine it's inherent advantages of cost, speed of construction and durability, with intricate architecture. The ability to provide all the details in concrete is an accomplishment for the industry.
