For the seventh year, top Tilt-Up concrete building projects around the world were honored at the 1999 Achievement Awards ceremony held at the Las Vegas Convention Center on January 21st.

Each year, TCA honors projects that show outstanding achievement in Tilt-Up construction. The winning entries demonstrate the abilities of the Tilt-Up construction concept, and the contractors implementing the process.

The competition is limited to projects completed between September 1, 1997 and September 1, 1998; and to building teams with at least one TCA member, although new members are eligible to enter projects completed within the guideline period. There were many good projects that did not receive awards this year.

Judges with experience in Tilt-Up were selected from the design and construction community. They evaluated the entries on four criteria: aesthetic appeal, creativity of structural and architectural design, unique application or end use, and setting new standards and advancements for the industry.
