Overall design/build time from design to delivery, including all reviews and approvals of this beautiful project, was only 25 months. The project is a senior high school for 2,500 students with a variety of vocational and technical programs. It includes two single-story buildings and a two-story building with a total area of over 300,000 square feet.

Tilt-Up construction was performed by Tilt-Con Corporation. The challenge was to coordinate all the equipment, floor finishes and floor power/data outlets in the casting slab. The use of repetitive Tilt-Up elements was achieved without sacrificing the interior layouts or the program requirements.

This was just one of the school projects submitted for award consideration. Tilt-Up construction is proving very popular for school construction throughout North America.
