TCA Achievement Award Submittal Deadline Moved to June

Awards ceremony will be held during TCA Convention week

The entry deadline for submitting projects for consideration in the 2011 TCA Tilt-Up Achievement program has been moved up to June 30, 2010. This is a change from previous years when the due date was in late August.

This year the awards ceremony will be held during the week of the annual TCA Convention this year - September 29th through October 1st in Irvine, California. The actual date will be announced later this summer.

The earlier submittal deadline will help facilitate the awards ceremony's move from the week of World of Concrete to the TCA Convention.

About the TCA

Founded in 1986, the Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) strives to improve the quality and acceptance of site-cast Tilt-Up construction, a method in which concrete wall panels are cast on-site and tilted into place. Tilt-Up construction is one of the fastest growing industries in the United States, combining the advantages of reasonable cost with low maintenance, durability, speed of construction and minimal capital investment. At least 10,000 buildings, enclosing more than 650 million square feet, are constructed each year using this construction method.
